Art Show with Darla Reid

You are invited to an Art Show!

What: Art Show with Darla Reid
'Transformations; Fading Light - Autumn Visions'

Where: Fiber Options Naturals, 577 Johnson St. Victoria BC
When: Thursday October 8th 6:00-8:00 pm
Why: In the family of Ecoeverything and Fiber Options stores is a gallery in Tofino called Cedar Corner Art Gallery. The Gallery is designed to have values that align directly with those of the Fiber Options and Ecoeverything stores. Therefore, the gallery showcases artists who are local, being mainly from Vancouver Island. One of these artists is Darla Reid, from Sooke, BC. Her pieces are rough, textured and showcase creations of the natural world.
We want to show off her talent, so come and join us in celebrating this local artist!
Reid's pieces are often referred to as 'accessible art', meaning that they are priced for a variety of budgets.

Please join us this Thursday!
Call 250-721-3263 for more information.

$1200 Shopping Spree Winner Announced

Well - this is a little late, but we had to share the details anyways!!! On Earth Day (April 23rd) the winner of the Green Collective's Earth Day $1200 Shopping Spree, Elizabeth Peters, got carted around from store to store via a Kabuki Cab to spend her winnings! The 12 participating Green Collective stores each donated $100 to the event, making for a $1200 Shopping Spree at the 12 hippest and greenest stores Victoria has to offer! If you are not familiar with what this event was about, please check out the previous two postings!!!

Congratulations again to Elizabeth, the winner of the prize! There could not have been more of a deserving winner, as Elizabeth is a brand new mum, in search of all things eco for her new little baby! We hope Elizabeth had a wonderful time shopping with her friend and child (and the Kabuki guy too!)
